Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Thought this deserved its own thread because I dont think anyone would have thought that Collymore would be coming out of retirement.
Rumour has it that Stan Collymore is ready to come out of retirement with a return to football at Elland Road.

The Daily Mirror's 3pm column by Steve Anglesey writes: 'Which has-been is being linked with a return from retirement to play for Leeds in January? Clue: If he was depressed before, just wait until he gets to Elland Road!'

We at Footymad Towers can only think of Stan the Man. Any suggestions from you lot?

The rumour was also posted a few days ago on the main Leeds United forum.

He'll probably be linked with a few clubs since he put himself in the shop window a month or two back, saying he's undergoing intensive training with a view to coming back to England (the Premiership more specifically).
I dunno, no matter how intensive his training is, 6 or 7 years is a long time to be out of the professional game.

Yeah I read that myself but nothing has been mentioned since then. It wa sposted on the Leeds forum that someone heard Collymore was coming to Leeds and will be on a pay as you play contract. I thought it was a wind up but now this has been put on footymad. Probably still a wind up but you never know.

At 35 I dont think Collymore is the answer to the problems at Leeds.
