    3mb

Monthly subscription of just €33.00 (ex vat)

An acceptable usage policy applies. A telephone line in your premises is required for the provisioning of this service. Home Start has a contention ratio of 48:1 (Mod: adding this to make their new products clearer)

No mention of line rental that I can see ... the site has very little info

an attempt to build brand loyalty by reselling eircom bitstream hehe, since there are too many horror stories with its wireless products i guess, should be interesting.

well if you get the same line as eircom then it's quite good considering there's no specific cap, there's a fair usage policy but sure that's more than 30 gig's a month.

still though, i wouldn't touch them with a 40 foot barge pole.

Me either after they unoffically cut me off for downloading too much - Your line of sight magically dissapeared" even though i can see the mast from the bedroom

Interestng that its 6 month contract, and in relation to the fair usage policy I've been unable to find the terms on their website as of yet.

Although its basically a re-sell I think its a good move for IBB

Yeah, it's actually quite good because they offer affordable packages with no cap and the contract it only 6 months.

Maybe BT will get scared and take away their cap <3

Whatever IBB will introduce as a new service or product will DEFINITELY be CRAP !!! because they can never afford to pay TopQuality IT professionals who know what they are doing. My friend worked for them at the start of their business and he was paid Crap money. He left them and worked for another company for a wage 3.5 times more than what IBB gave him! And he has a lot of funny stories about the way things are done there :-)))
BTW, I had IBB in my place for a few months and they drove me nuts with their Breeze 2Mbs. An absolute joke!

In fairness comparing wireless to ADSL isn't fair, their both very different technologys and work in VERY different ways.

Almost every rep for every company will have "funny" stories about goings on in the company they worked for, I know I do.

If he made the move from IBB to another company and got paid more then thats great for him :)
