Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Clyde 2-1 Dundee

Dundee striker Andy McLaren's three red cards
overshadowed Clyde's win as both sides ended the game with 10 men.

McLaren was initially booked for wrestling with Clyde's David Hutton after Gavin Swankie's 87th-minute penalty had thrown Dundee a lifeline.

Gary Arbuckle and Stephen O'Donnell had given Clyde a 2-0, while defender Neil McGregor was sent off early in the second period.

Clyde have now extended their unbeaten league run to nine games.

Dens Park boss Alex Rae is set to have talks with McLaren following his triple dismissal.

He received a second red card in the dressing room after striking Michael McGowan on his way off and was given a third for his reaction to referee Dougie McDonald.

"Obviously we will miss Andy. We just have to accept whatever comes and get on with it," Rae said.

"I need to sit down and have a talk to him because indiscipline has cost us a few times this season."

During his team’s tilt with Clyde on Saturday, Dundee striker Andy McLaren achieved a rare hat-trick: three red cards. McLaren, who joined Dundee this summer and who had a cup of coffee with Reading in 2000 before testing positive for pot and coke and admitting he had an alcohol problem, showed that anger management isn’t really one of his strengths either.

What a hero.....This article claims the player is prepared to retire rather than serve his punishment.

McLaren was due to meet Dens Park officials yesterday when it was expected he would either announce he intended quitting football or the Dark Blues would sack him for his triple red card shame against Clyde.
