Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Yeah I saw that clip last night and it was hilarious but also not surprised that both teams were annoyed over game being called off as from what I could see at the time of kick off the fog had lifted enough to see end to end so methinks the ref jumped the gun a little

He made a great point there that what if there was a controversial decision that a linesman had made as a result of not being able to see the other side of the pitch clearly. Hadn't really thought of that before hearing him there.

But my point was he jumped the gun making the decision and you could clearly see both goals at time of kick off and I'm sure the fans who travelled would have liked the chance to see the game too and if the weather got worse he could have abandoned game then.

yeah, it made no sense not starting the game anyway, so close to kickoff. Most of the away fans would have already been there at that point. if they found it was unplayable or if the linesmen couldn't do their jobs, then fair enough, cancel it at that point

In fairness, in the fog that he was interviewed in the game could definately have been played.

Got to feel some sympathy for the refs in these situations, damned if they do damned if they don't.
