Shakedown says goodbye to 2006 and hello to 2007 with a spectacular NYE production at The Bowery, topped off with a plethora of live acts and DJs and if that wasn’t enough how about a NYE BBQ Cook Off? Floyd Soul & The Wolf, Jay Jam Fly Jive, Torann, Baron Samedi, Tommy Boy & DJ Louis will be providing the rocking soundtrack to the explosive production that will see in the new year!

Eve Of Destruction is the bold title given to the new Shakedown produced event that is going to usher in 2007. The entire production is devised and directed by John Grubb, the man responsible for one of the largest scale theatrical productions Waterford has even seen with 2005’s multi venue Theatre Of Horror II show, that might be a little understated, how about the Theatre Of Horror II Experience? As it involved a cast and crew of over 40 people, three locations and at one point hundreds of members of the public, all in fancy dress. That’s yet to be topped, and maybe Eve Of Destruction might be that show. Months of pre-production work reaches a culmination on December 28th when ‘get-in’ and the official build of the show starts. To accommodate this Shakedown will not be running on December 30th as the cast & crew gear up for something that has never been tried before. As always the the aim is to top all that you have seen before so get set for a dramatic end to the year and a stunning start to the next.

Hey, is it true that the bands playing the NYE show won't be on the main stage but in the tiny side pub?
