Anyone have any idea where I can find the outside temprature sensor on a VW passat. Its reading an incorrect temprature (about 7 degrees less than the actual temprature outside the car). Is it faulty or has anyone come across this before?

I'm not 100% sure about a Passat, but on some makes and models the sensor is located behind the front bumper.

I've also heard of them being up in one of the front wheelarches, but I've never had reason to go looking for it.

Also located inside the passenger mirror on some models i think the octivia is one of them so passat might be the same
