New Celebrity Big Brother house unveiled

Channel 4 has unveiled the new-look Celebrity Big Brother house.

Vivid orange carpets inside and flock-style wallpaper outside seemingly designed to jar on the contestants nerves.

There is little room to escape - the garden has shrunk in size because of the cold weather and the kitchen enlarged instead.

The celebrities will share one bedroom which has been decorated with a dizzying swirling pattern. There are black and white swirls on the bedspreads, brown and cream swirls on the carpet, and the walls are pink and brown.

The house, which features glass walls throughout, has been reworked by designer Peter Gordon.

Stars rumoured to appear are said to include Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding, Baywatch's David Hasselhoff and eighties pop star Adam Ant.

It will be early Jan, the Xmas deco's are usually still up when it starts. All the people rumoured to be in it never actually are.

Regarding Adamant, the man has a history of mental illness and attacking someone with an antique gun, so I'll give you odds of 66/1 that he will be there.

Lots of rumours, including the CBB have been finding it hard to pin some people down and the C4 gave them carte blanche to meet celebrities prices in order to get some big names and that some close-to-signed-deals fell through.

One name that has popped up in a few places is Julie Goodyear (Bet Lynch) from Coronation Street. It does seem like they haven't had the easiest of times getting people people this time.

My God, if David Hasselhoff is on it I will watch BB every single day.

I read that the show is going to be delayed by 15 minutes because of possible swearing so someone from digital spy is going to be in the crowd with a mobile phone to let the ds readers know who's in.
