Sounds good, quite like what I've heard from Nina Hynes and my buddy has been preaching Kíla's wares for quite some time. Not cheap though.

Yeah, I saw Duke Special supporting The Beautiful South, in Cork last September - they were fantastic! So in a smaller venue - they'll be really good.

RedFM are promoting Air Traffic as the next band who'll make it big, so it might be no harm to see them while they're full of that initial-prove-yourself energy!

    Because RedFM know music...

Don't be so cynical - give a new band credit before you slate them not having listened to them. They played an Air Traffic song, and TBH, as a working musician, I thought it was excellent.

You suggesting that you'd have more authority on what is and isn't a kingmaking song?

For a mod, that's one hell of a post. The short answer to your obviously confrontational question, is no.

My post was directed at Kold for putting the band down, without even hearing them, simply because I said RedFM were promoting them.

I never put the band down, review the post. I'm just saying I'd take more interest if a complete stranger said that the band was fairly good rather than Red FM saying 'they're the next big thing'.

@OP Any chance of getting Cypress Ave season tickets or have they ever considered it?
