Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Getting a new phone for xmas tomorrow and I need some suggestions! I'm with meteor and would prefer to stick to Nokia phones. Atm I have a 3300 (I think) that I've had for 3/4 years with no problems.

What I need in a phone is:
Long (at least a week, 24hrs a day) battery life
Loud speaker for hands free calling
    Bluetooth

Thats it, I'm not interested in anything else. Just need a nice phone to call, text and use as a reminder with calender/alarm clock.

    Thanks

I'd go with the 6230i, not sure if it has the reminder setting.

Ok thanks, but it looks almost exactly like my current phone, I'd like something a little bit different.

I AM willing to look at other brands for new designs if I need to, but my experience with trying to text and navigate on a siemens was a complete turnoff. Nokia is so simple and effective.

Looks exactly the same?, well you don't have 3300 then. If you can afford these, get the Nokia N73 or the Sony Ericsson K800i.

Yeah Samsung are becoming very popular lately. Very nice phones.

he's looking for something simple with long batt life so thats the n73 or k800i out of the question .
why don't you get the nokia 6030 or similar, does all of the above, do you want anymore extra features?

I don't know a lot about it but the 6103 looks like the only one that could attempt the battery life you want and has bluetooth.

With the others you'll have to take 3 days max battery unless you don't use the phone :)
