Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm quite worried about tomorrows game, with both Carrick and Scholes out, we could see the fearsome O'Shea and Fletcher midfield :(

You could see giggs and fletcher playing in the middle,
Will this game be on any of the arabian channels? If so i may go to the pub for it!

reading playing decent stuff so far. 15 gone and no real chances bar a drogba half chance.

the united team should be along the lines of the following

    vds
    nev_rio_browne_evra
    Ron_Fletch_giggs_rooney
    ole_Saha

heinze(christmas ritual), scholes (suspended), vidic (suspended), though there seems to be conflicting reports about those 2 suspensions and carrick (injured) are missing. leaving bench of silvestre, park, shea and possibly smith

Drogba scores (geting rather boring saying that!)

West Ham 0 -2 Pompey (both goals from Primus!)

    Mike.

Chelsea take the lead, in what has been a very poor match, Reading can't hold possession, but Chelsea aren't punishing them. The goal has brought Reading to life a little, so the 2nd half should be better.

Reading putting up a good show. No-Show-Ko is off and SWP on.

Liverpool - Reina, Hyypia, Agger, Finnan, Riise, Carragher, Gerrard, Gonzalez, Alonso, Crouch, Bellamy.

Subs - Dudek, Garcia, Aurelio, Pennant, Kuyt.

    3-5-2 ish

    Mike.

Come on Reading. Chelsea are looking very shaky when they are run at. Hopefully Doyle can pop up with a cheeky goal.

    Yes, GOOOOOO READING!!!

I can't help but get the impression that Mourinho is just getting United fans' hopes up. Come on Reading!

Scholes is playing, great, thought he was suspended

Not on telly anywhere by any chance is it? United match I mean?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,346 ✭✭✭✭homerjay2005

great result for reading. chelsea get what they deserved, they were very poor and indeed, reading had 4 other great chances in the second half.

united team is a strange one - alot of changes.

    vds
    browne_vidic_silvestre_evra
    Fletcher_shea_scholes_park
    Rooney_Ole

Subs: Saha, Ronaldo, Heinze, Richardson, Kuz

no giggs, neville, rio, carrick in squad, strange

Villa lost again, two goals from Defoe and a consolation from Barry left it 2-1 to spurs :(

    Roll on the transfer window.
Shaun Wright Philips had a superb assist for drogba's second he could definately do a job for Villa, and if Defoe starts to find his goalscoring touch again he would definately be more than appreciated at villa park.

Liverpool should be 3-0 up but poor finishing might cost them again.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,147 ✭✭✭Ronan|Raven

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,617 ✭✭✭✭PHB

Ronaldo should be taking the peno, to get a brace, after like 4 minutes :P
    Misses, but then scores :P

I think we might have a MOM :P

and a player of the season so far?? ;)

scored after 68 seconds on the pitch.
he is playing some stuff lately, 10 league goals already, now second in the goal scoring charts, some stuff for a winger

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,467 ✭✭✭smemon

yes, 4 points clear now :D

chelsea starting to feel the heat.

terry apparently needs surgery so more good news for Utd. Look at the amount of goals chelsea have conceded recently... they badly miss cech & terry.

6 in the last 3 games...

    Everton 2 - 3 Chelsea
    Wigan 2 - 3 Chelsea
    Chelsea 2 - 2 Reading

a far cry from the boring 1-0's in previous seasons. Cole & Shevchenko liabilities atm...

You are my Solsjkaer, my only Solsjkaer :)

Let's hope we can get a further 2/3 points ahead before the transfer window opens, and Chelsea buy 4 new defenders to provide cover

    Crouch off Kuyt on.

I merely meant in the context of the brace arriving so quickly. And the pedantic award goes to.....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,346 ✭✭✭✭homerjay2005

ole makes it 3-0, hopefully that is job done. seems to be working out well, looks like everybody has now got a rest, scholes and vidic must be suspended for the next game, so they will then get their rest. take off rooney now please.

How do we always seem to get Blackburn when Friedle is in "best gk in the world" mode?

Quite how Liverpool contrived to lose this match is beyond me.

    Crouch really shouldn't have started.

Arsenal should move into 3rd now.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 88,972 ✭✭✭✭mike65

He should have started, Kuyt can't play every game as he expends so much energy per game. That said Crouch is one step closer to being sold, a few more performances that like in front of goal....

    Mike.

Crouch should never start. I really dont understand how a guy so tall has to use an opposition player as leverage and foul him ever time he just. Jis heught is a handicap instead of a bonus.

Whats with him not putting Fowler on the bench , regadless of how poorly one or more of the other 3 are playing?

Regardless of this game. I thought the rule was 30 secs is added on for a sub automatically? How come that never happens when the substitution is in injury time? It's basically allowing timewasting. The blackburn substitution took about 40 secs all in all, yet the clock was only run for 14 secs over injury times.

Bar injury time chaos, looks like finishing 3-0 Man U.

Ruining my VDS clean sheet bonus. Just need Arse to destroy Watford now with RVP scoring 5

a cracker so far at watford. goal from a corner from gilberto, shocking marking, free header bout 4 yards out and then watford equalsed. arsenal look dangerous on the break, but foster has looked solid again in goals.
