I have 2 cards of 512mb DDR2 ram that I want to install onto my motherboard. The first card of 512mb DDR2 is 533mhz and the second card of DDR2 512mb is 800mhz. My motherboard supports any speed up to 800mhz DDR2 ram. Now what I want to know is would it be possible to put the 2 cards of ram onto my motherboard eventhough they are both different speeds. I know that if you install 2 cards of DDR1 ram 333mhz and 400mhz then both will run at 333mhz so is this the same with DDR2 motherboards if I install 800mhz and 533mhz will both run at 533mhz? Or would installing 2 different speeds damage my motherboard?

yes. It works the same as ddr. but you can overclock to higher speeds :)
