Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

HUGE NEWS FOR UK FANS: TNA WRESTLING "iMPACT!" AND PAY-PER-VIEWS TO AIR EXCLUSIVELY ON BRAVO 2

UK Wrestling fans can now see TNA stars Kurt Angle, Sting and Samoa Joe on TNA’s flagship show “iMPACT!” exclusively on Bravo 2!

"iMPACT!" will air on Saturday nights on Bravo 2, starting on Saturday, January 6, 2007. The program will deliver TNA's brand of Total Nonstop Action, typically showcasing two to four matches per one-hour episode and featuring numerous interviews with your favorite TNA Wrestling stars!

"iMPACT!" is filmed at Universal Studios in Florida, and will air on Bravo 2 during Saturday night’s primetime family viewing - just 48 hours after it premieres on Spike TV in the United States.

Bravo 2 will also exclusively air TNA’s monthly Pay-Per-Views, just three days after their live recording beginning with "Final Resolution" on Wednesday, January 17. The three-hour broadcasts feature some of the biggest names in wrestling and include less talk and more in-ring action!

TNA Wrestling delivers a distinct brand of high-risk, athletic entertainment. TNA’s roster includes new, fresh talent like AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, Samoa Joe, Chris Sabin and recognizable stars such as Kurt Angle, Sting, Christian Cage, Team 3D, and others. TNA features the innovative six-sided ring and the high-flying “X Division,” as well as innovative matches such as “Ultimate X” and “Six Sides of Steel.”

Dixie Carter, President of TNA said: “We are excited to join the Bravo family of networks in the United Kingdom. The Bravo name is synonymous with quality programming, and we hope to add to that reputation.”

Bravo, owned by Flextech Television, is the UK's favorite entertainment destination for men aged 16-44, and premieres an eclectic and award-winning blend of programming.

Good news for anyone with SKY Digital though... I might actually start keeping up with TNA now that it is not so far back from the States

I was just hoping it wouldn`t be on Five US or something so this is a result for me!

Any chance if we flood NTL with requests for Bravo 2 to be put on that they will cave they have Bravo 1 and Bravo +1 ask them to change that.

As another person with ntl, this doesn't really do much for me! It's not that great a deal for TNA though really, they're not reaching any bigger an audience with this, are they?

EDIT: I was just looking around on some sites there, and it seems like a lot of ntl customers have been complaining that Bravo have moved their live Serie A games to Bravo 2. Someone mentioned that they rang ntl about it and they said they might be looking into adding Bravo 2 to their package after Christmas. Apparently ntl own Bravo anyway, so it's in their best interests to give us Bravo 2

You know what? I think I may have to watch bit more TNA now thats is more up to date!

One person said it won't reach a bigger audience, but not that many people watch TWCfight, so moving it to Bravo 2 will help! I for one will check it out more regularly! So it will reach a bigger audience even if its just one or two people (lol, that will be double the amount who watched it on TWC :p )!

the ntl in Ireland is owned by UPC, not ntl

ntl got rid of it last year

Oh yeah, that's true, I remember reading about that at the time. So, maybe it would be a good idea to e-mail ntl about gettin Bravo 2! It'd be worth mentioning the Serie A games to them too..although we get them on Setanta anyway, don't we? Been a while since I've watched it

Agree with Minto, I believe by putting it on Bravo it will reach a new audience. TWC is primarily a channel for those who are avid Wrestling/MMA fans, an audience TNA could bank on getting regardless of whatever channel they're on. It is the more casual viewer that a company like TNA needs to attract. You'd be suprised how many people are loyal to certain stations or categories of channels with Sky. I pretty much only use my favourites EPG to decide what i am going to watch, if a channel isn't o that list I probably won't watch it. Its more likely that people pass by Bravo alot more than TWC.

Also, lots of young lads will be hovering around Bravo at that time seeing when the softcore porn starts ;)

Personally, I am aware of TNA and have watched it occassionally on TWC but the bit rate on that channel is pretty poor and for fast paced wrestling its a bit of a put off for me. Also, getting the shows and ppvs that much more earlier makes a difference. In to the Sky+ planner she will go.

yeah but invariably within that week I would find out somewhere what had happened especially on PPV's and ,to me anyway, that kind of ruins a lot of the point of watching it... And hopefully the PPV's will no longer be four hour marathons with the ads in the wrong places. I know TWC were probably doing their best, but their production values are not nearly as good as Bravo's.

Sure look at how UFC took off when it got onto Bravo... Good news for TNA to be on Bravo IMHO

Maybe not a huge concern for TNA as Bravo 2 is on Telewest presently and will be on the NTL UK platform from mid January when Ntl and Telewest merge each others channels. I would assume that TNA ar primarily looking at the UK market and not the Irish one.

i just emailed this to bravo.

im so p*issed off its not on bravo1

    Hi

First & foremost I would like to congratulate you on becoming Tna Wrestling proud new home

When I heard tna was moving to a new channel I got excited I could finally start watching Tna( I usual watch it on youtube)

As Irelands Ntl customers don’t get The Wrestling Channel.

I have just come to learn we don’t get bravo 2 either.

    We get bravo & bravo+1

There is thousands & thousands of upset Irish fans who really really want to see tna.

I was wondering if you could put it on Bravo1 even late at night.

We all have bravo1 so just think, your advertisers will be getting a more broader audience.

I will leave it in your good hands.

    Thanks so much

    Happy New Year

    Mark

does Bravo have an Irish ads version? if not then i dont really think the advertisers will give a ****

i reckon they will have car adds crap like that which will apply to everyone.

I'd say it'd be better worth your while e-mailing ntl about picking up Bravo 2 than asking Bravo to switch around their programming. Their Serie A coverage gets a lot more viewers than TNA would, and they think it's a good idea to have it on Bravo 2. I'm not too sure they put the most thoughts into ads either, there were a fair few air freshener ads during UFC 66!

    Bravo 2 is encrypted

and if you have a Sky subscription then it is on channel 12something
