Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

surpried the liverpool tottenham match isnt being shown on Sky or RTE, usually a good game with a lot of support for each team.

Well Villa are one nil up Barath Garry scoring from the penalty spot.

Charlton are in trouble. "new manager syndrom" seems to have by-passed them. I have a feeling that might have been the only thing that could have saved them. 2 or 3 wins and a draw or two in Curbishly's first 6 or 7 games might have done the trick but seems extremely unlikely now.

On the plus side, Carson is having a great season. I havnt seen any goals that I could genuinly blame on him, god knows theres been a lot of goals conceded. Might be just what Liverpool need next season. Not thta Reina is having a stinker, but I can never be 100% confident he isnt going to arse somthing up.

heheh 1-1 D.Bent from nowhere. Big hoof up, dodgy defending.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,247 ✭✭✭✭Guy:Incognito

Barry sent off for professional foul.

Probably just as well for Chalton, think he had started ot go too far wide and the keeper might have had him.

    Reina
    Finnan
    Agger
    Carragher
    Aurelio
    Garcia
    Alonso
    Gerrard
    Riise
    Kuyt
    Bellamy

    Subs:

    Martin
    Gonzalez
    Crouch
    Pennant
    Paletta

    Reina
    Finnan-Agger-Carra-Aurelio
    Garcia-Alonso-Gerrard-Riise
    Bellamy-Kuyt

Decent team - would have liked to see pennant on the right, gonzalez on the left and riise left back - but what can you do!

i presume Mike means for crouch playing rubbish the other day!

Again. What was the point of Rafaf saying how well Fowler had done and giving him a new contract if he's not even going to see the Bench?

    2-1 Hughes.

Maybe that new manager syndrom is there after all.

Lol at the Villa defender on the line trying to decide whether to stop it with his hand. :)

FFS 91st minute Charlton take the lead.

Ah well, hopefully monday will bring brighter news. I've forgot what its like to win already lol.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,617 ✭✭✭✭PHB

Ah thats good for Charlton, will make the relegation fight a lot more interesting if they can get back into it, and if they can keep winning, there could be 8 teams that could get pulled into it.

This is looking like the best season in a while,
    fight for 1st
    fight for 3rd and 4th
    fight for relegation

Everton and Blackburn winning. Pompey also winning; I expected Bolton to beat them today, well they have it all to do now.

Jesus what is Lita's problem with putting a cross in?

He must have watched a video of Ciise - take the ball in acres of space, then take little steps till your right up tight to a defender and whack it at him

Ole for Man U, lovely finish 1-0

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,247 ✭✭✭✭Guy:Incognito

1-0 utd, solskjaer, good header. The defender should have started walking towards the halfway line when the cross came in, he was so far away from solskjaer he shouldnt have bothered wastign his energy jogging after him.

1-1 Sonko makes up for bad marking on Solskjaer.
Poor goalkeeping a lot to blame.

All i heard was "swung in by" and then turned to see everyone celebrating. :) Rte dead?.

Interestingly poised at half-time. Reading have had by far the best of the first half. Can they keep it up for 90 minutes though? Don't see Fulham holding out for a point at Chelski myself.

The boards around Old Trafford are still advertising a competition to bet on the 15,000 goalscorer. Wonder if it's too late to win?:D

2-1 Utd, Ronaldo. Solskjaer unlucky with his shot not going in, on 2nd look the keeper got a touch.
