    Ok i was told to look at the moon at around 5.20 and watch... because there will be a space station passing by... lol is this true?

    Edit: 5.53 now lol

    presume thats the international space station, and i doubt you would have seen much there this evening. It's difficult to see the ISS without artificial aids and especially with the sky so bad this evening.

    Its supposed to happen again tonight because its taking the same path over the next few days lol or so ive heard.

    From prior experience, astronomical events tend to be lame. Unless you have something like a Hubble telescope lying around, what you will most likely see is a little dot zooming across the sky and not people waving a you from the space station window.

    None of it was a joke. The ISS was indeed due to pass close to the moon, as we look at it. The ISS will be on view up to the end of next week. Check www.heavens-above.com for more details.
