Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Firefox/Media Player Problem

I can't play certain movies in firefox, they should play with media player (I have 11 installed) but I get a message saying plug-in not available, I cannot download the specific plug-in, which is coming up as x-mplayer2. I have tried going to options and associating the files with media player or quicktime, but with no success. An example of one of the movies in question is:

    Can anyone offer some help?

It plays with FireFox on Ubuntu - so it's codecs all right
"Movie Player using xine-lib version 1.1.2"

File is a wmv - so Media Player should play it

VLC plays it too BTW ;)
