Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It was poor finishing that cost United in this game.

And finishing being so important, it's part of your "performance", and a fairly big part, it being something that can cost you the game on its own. Certainly more important than creating corners.

Martin Tyler: "Stilian Petrov, part of the European Community now". Oh dear.

obviously, but to suggest that United were ****e is just silly, they were ****e at finishing in this game, and it happens once in a while, but I'm not that worried about it.

Essien is just so bloody good, what a run, what a cross.

Great run alright, left the full back for dead despite giving him a decent head start.

    Arsenal 1-0

    Henry (penalty)

    Osei Sankofa sent off

Henry from the spot, 1-0 Arsenal.

He is obviously annoyed with being overshadowed by Drogba & Doyle. :)

Ah well, lucky we have Larson so!

Larsson is pure class alright but he's old now. United can't rely on him as their sole out-and-out striker. They need other proven backup for Saha.

    Arsenal 2-0 Charlton

Justin Hoyte with a brilliant finish. a nice 1-2 with Henry

    half time

Justin Hoyte makes it 2-0 after a one-two with Henry. Delighted for the lad, his reaction to scoring made it evident how much it meant to him.

Chelsea finding little joy against Villa but should score soon I think. Drogba's touch is unreal at the moment, whether he's taking a ball in the air or at his feet. He played a superb cross for Cashley Cole a few minutes ago.

Drogba just needs to get something on target at the moment but, as I've always said, feed the Drog and he will score.

    Delighted for the lad

indeed after his performance against Sheffield United, delighted to see him get a goal for Arsenal

If any more proof of Terry's value to Chelsea were needed, the recent run of goals conceded is Chelsea's worst since the beginning of the Premiership.

    stupid linesman

Henry goal disallowed for offside when he wasnt

  • Users Awaiting Email Confirmation Posts: 15,001 ✭✭✭✭Pepe LeFrits

Yup, and then Henry (and Gilberto?) miss when it was easier to score.

Rosicky also hit the post earlier, he just can't score.

Carson has pulled off some fantastic saves for Charlton. without him Charlton would probably be losing by 4 or 5

Now it's Cesc's turn to miss. Arse should be near double figures by now.

Chelsea are really doing their best to give Utd the league. It's like they are afraid to close the gap.

Great point for the Villa and great defending by the two young Center Backs but my god we were awful going forward, we need new players badly.
