Where do you register on the site to get access to the Sex and Sexuality forum?

    Cheers

Good question. I always assumed that you need to be registered paying member to get access. Well, I changed from a non-paying regisetered user to paying one but not only I still cant see ( or find ) the S+S forum, I can't even post in ANY forum, contact the mods or anything! I've to post 'unregistered'. anyone can solve this problem for me ?

Access to S+S is for Subscribers and Moderators only

Yes you have to be a subscriber or a mod.

This isn't really the place to sort out such problems, but lonely1, its obviously no good moving this to help desk since you can only post unregged, so apologies to the PI mods in dealing with site-level business here.

Can you tell us your username and I'll have it looked in to?

    Cool.

Now, assuming you've cleared your cache (solves a lot of these sort of problems), checked that your password is correct, do you mind if someone contacts you via the email address you registered with?

Let me know that and I've everything together and can move this thread to help-desk and look at getting one of the techier admins to sort it out.

q-why is it only for subs and mods?

Probably because the topics in Sex and Sexuality are hidden from web searches and to keep out minors. It was a decision made by the administrators.

Its to protect minors. Some of the S&S stuff is definitely NOT what I want my niece reading. At least not until she is 18! :)

are all the mods over 18?

To my knowledge all of them are 16 or over which is fine. Its not like its a porno-show, you could find much worse on numerous sex sites but all the same they are not discussions I would feel comfortable having without age control.

You must be over 17 to consent to having sex with an adult ie someone 18 or over.
There is no law against two sixteeen year olds.

I think there'd be a lot of problems in schools around Ireland if discussion of sexual issues was limited to those 17 and over.

What with all the sexual education and so on.
