Wiring Gas Hob Spark Ignition Question

I've just recently had a gas hob installed and now need to wire up the spark ignition. Can anyone tell me if it would be safe to wire this off the electric oven supply as this is easyiest option for me. I know that this is a 40Amp load

I would connect the cooker supply to a fused spur with a 3 Amp fuse in it and I would feed the ignitor from that.
