    Hi Lads,

Two quick questions for the MBT gang.

    1)

I know there is the XC and the NPS MTB races held in spring/summer . In order to race in both do I need to register in the north as well the south or are these combined in some way.

    2)

Has anybody heard any reviews on the Trek Fuel EX5 . I checked the usual sites and the forums but cant see any ( I know its a 2007 bike BTW). I currently have a hard-tail hardrock sport, that I've grown to love but realize its not really cutting the mustard ant more !!!!

Thanks in advance lads and a happy new year.....

Have a look on www.mtbireland.com, there's good selection of forums there.

A single race licence covers you for racing in the North and South. There's another race series this year in addition to the NPS - the K Capital Cup beginning in March. You can get your race licence here: http://www.cyclingireland.ie.

You'll find some reviews of the Trek EX series bikes here:
    http://www.mtbr.com/reviews/xc_full_suspension/index_T.shtml
    (none for the EX5 though)

    hi lads ,

Cheers for the racing info Morgan, I've seen the MTBR.com fuel reviews already but as you note none for the ex5 . shame . hopefully in time though.

I'm looking forward to heading out on one of the MAD spins in February (work shift so never really off weekend),

Cheers again for the posts lads....

    Kevin.
