Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hello

I just bought a sim-free nokia 6233 and am currently with vodafone - is it now just a case of putting my sim into the phone and everything will work or do i need to change the settings?

Also my sim card is just 1 years old - should i get a new one from vodafone?

    Any advice is greatly appreciated,
    Simon

Unless the phone is locked to a particular network provider, it should work with your Vodafone SIM. However you may need to go to their website to download settings for GPRS, MMS and maybe some other stuff - dunno about Vodafone, but with O2 they have a thing on their website for this where you just choose your phone model and phone number and it'll send the settings to your phone.

Your SIM contains enough information to talk and text. If you want to send Media Messages or browse the internet go here and order Vodafone settings over the air. When they arrive select to make these settings the default.

Depending on what plan and if you want to use java applications to access the internet you may need to change the default setting in Web > Settings > Configuration > Account from Vf Live to Vodafone (ie change from wap to gprs)...
