Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi People,

I have a lot of white work shirts. I left about 10 of them in the wardrobe for a few months along with sheets and pillow cases. When I took them out yesterday they were all off white and some were yellow

Can I ever get these shirts back to being sparkling white again or will I just have to throw them out.

I tired using Ariel but that did'nt do much!

Doesn't matter what powder, soak them in bleach (or oxyclean or similar) first.

I found out accidentally that Dr Beckmann's Colour Run remover works a treat to whiten shirts that have greyed through being washed too many times. It's in a little red box and I've found it in Dunnes a few times. Magic!

Look in the laundry aisle for whitening powders - glow white, for instance. Anything designed to take greying whites back to sparkling whites should work.
