    Anyone ever been involved in setting one up?

    Yep, I was.

    Basically a few people got together and sent flyers around the doors giving a venue and a time for a meeting.

    We had about 30 homes represented at the meeting, and we discussed the local issues, and then formed a resident's association committee of 8.

    The hardest part, is arranging that first meeting. Pick a date and time, and then find a venue.
