Picked one up in the Square yesterday for just €20, as opposed to play.com's €45. Sound quality is slightly better than the bundled headset, but I wouldn't have been happy paying the RRP for it.

Is it still only the big Xtra-vision's that sell these?

Got Madden 07 for €45 tonight in XV Monkstown

Works fine for me too. I think PES6 is currently €40.

PES is 30 in game. A steal if you haven't got it yet. EA's 360 range is down to 30-40 now in most places or at least should be as EA themselves lower the price. Madden, Tiger Woods, NFS, FIFA, Superman etc.

Yep got one over a month ago (for €20) and it's workin fine.

Only one thing, range is not as good...

Range is not nearly as good as the controller.
And the battery life is ****.

It's worth every penny of €20.

    Deffo not worth €40+ however.

@super_furry Xtravision in the square?? Do you mean Tallaght village??
Went there tonight and had none left.Asked what price they have them for(when in stock) and was told €55 to which bloke behind counter said "thats odd" Picked up Tiger Woods '07 for €44.:D :D

*edit*Ah apologies super furry, just checked their store locator thingy and it's Extra-Game in the Square.Forgot all about that shop.:o :o

I assumed that was a price error in the catalog as it's 45 everywhere else. Must see if my local has any.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,558 ✭✭✭The tax man

Well it's now priced @ €55 in the square.:(

Was 20 quid, price changed last thursday...they put it back up to 55.

Figured as much. Was a typo in the catalog. The wired one should be 19.99. Figures why my one never got any stock and they're a big enough store (Parkway SC, Limerick)

I got mine for €20 in XV also.
    Well worth €20 , sounds better /clearer.
Hurt your ears after a while though.

Prefer comfort over clarity anyday.Back to the wired

Yeah, as soon as i saw they were selling them for €20 in Xtravision, i went straight down and got one. Knew i couldn't last long. They were making a €25 loss on each one sold!
