Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Cant connect Palm with PC anymore..

    Up til very recently, I could hot synch the Palm (Tungsten E2) with the pc/outlook via the usb cable that came with it. Now it wont connect.
    Tried the following;

    1. Took down firewall temporarily.
    2. Tried reseating and reinstalling usb card in pc
    3. Double checked the usb card by using a usb network adapter on it - worked fine.


    Other than trying to connect the palm to another pc (which i will do tomorrow), I'm running out of troubleshooting options.
    Any suggestions?

    What version of Windows? If XP go into Device Manager and see if the Palm shows up, if it has a red or yellow alert beside it, right click and select remove, then remove cable and plug in again so that windows reloads the driver

    I have now tried it on a second xp pro machine - same problem. I can only conclude that the problem lies with the pda itself or the cable?

    Hi, I had same trouble with a dell Pocket pc, My problem was that i had changed settings on the Del, I changed currency to euro and the time to show our change of 1 hour. When i changed the settings back to what they were when I originally connected to pc it seemed to work it self out.

    Might be the cradle/Plam connectors, You could try syncing with a bluetooth dongle or if you can get a loan of another cradle/lead.
    I have fount the connectors on the botton of the T2 and T3 pick up a lot of dirt and it does not have to be a lot to stop the connection going through.
