Urgent! Searching for friend in Louth

His name is Michael Heeney and I believe he lives in Drogheda or in the vicinity. I lost touch with him many months ago and have tried to track him down. He is in trouble and doesn't manage too well so it's urgent that I find him. The reason why I lost touch with him was because his phone was taken from him or he lost it. I didn't know where he would be staying the next few months and didn't have any exact addresses. As I live abroad (Scotland), I cannot get a hold on a phone catalogue for Louth and would like to know if anyone could help me here. I've searched everywhere and tried to ring his number, but the phone is never on. My worst fear is that he's dead. He was a troubled soul with a lot of burdens.

There are other names you can search by, his relatives, but I will give that to whomever is able and willing to help. Please send me a PM.

Any luck in finding your friend?? The name does not ring a bell at all with me, ive lived in Drogheda all my life.
Have you any more info, like approx what age he is, what school he attended? i could try and trace him down for you.

No luck so far.

He is between 40-45 years old. He has spent around 9 years in Portlaoise gaol for drug-related offences, but he is a harmless man, not violent or abusive. He used to own a coal company before he was incarcerated and when he told me about his plans for the future, he said he wanted to start a taxi company to make money so he could catch up with his daughter, whose name I don't remember. All of his children are between 20 - 30.

I know that before he was incarcerated, he lived on something like St Bredin street or Brendan street and at some point he and his family moved to Duleek.

I wouldn't know what school he went to, but he was quite a successful business man and people were shocked to learn that he was addicted to drugs and sold drugs. He's a very good man and very intelligent, in spite of what he has done.

yes i think i know who you are on about. did he have kinda longish hair, light brown? im nearly sure he used to deliver coal to my mothers house 10 - 12 years ago if my timing is right????

Reddish hair, rather. Perhaps it looked light brown. He was a coal merchant, and used to drive coal all around. That could have been him. He did have that job 10-12 years ago. he could be the man you describe. Do you know anything else about him?

Im sure it muct be him. Back then he had longish hair. Lasttime i seen him was over a year ago, its shaved short now.

I will have to try find out where he lives, i will ask my mam, i think she knew him well. Will get back to ya with info as soon as i can!

However, I'm not so sure you would have seen him a year ago, because he was released from prison in early November last year. Only about 3 months ago.

Are you positive it's him?

Thats a lot of personal information about a person on a public forum. What is the urgency to make contact with him all of a sudden. Maybe the Gardaí could assist you.
