Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    hi.
sorry if this has been covered before. how can I access vodafone live using pocket internet explorer on a windows mobile 5.0 device (eten glofiish x500).

I have tried the vodafone live settings in the sticky above but i've had no luck so far.

i'm a bit confused about the whoLe gprs/wap side of things tbh.

basically I normally use pocketIE over a gprs connection for general browsing etc.

but in order to connect to vodafone live using a pocketpc do I need to change this gprs connection to a wap one and then enter the settings above?

    any help much appreciated.
    thanks.

I posted an answer to this before in this forum so search should find it, basically you need to edit the registry so that IE appears to be a Live supported phone.

tbh i'm not a great fan of editing the registry but I'll give it a go -what registry editor did you use for this btw?

I don't know why vodafone block access to the live site on these phones anyway. basically the reason I need it is to check by voice and data balance- do you know any other way to do this.

mkenney - you mean *174# ? YOu can do that on an Exec too..

As for the registry editor, I didn't bother in the end but there's plenty out there.

yeah, I dial 1907 which is the post-paid equivalent of the *174# number. but doing this only gives me remaining minutes not remaining megabytes. any ideas.
