Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I listened to a fair bit of radio over the Xmas and here is my take on it. RTE....Some improvement in "currency of content" i.e. They didn't turn the airwaves over to Joe Jackson pre recordings and repeats as much as heretofore. They obviously rostered a different A lister (High earner)to take the morning slot most days.…

I listened to a fair bit of radio over the Xmas and here is my take on it.

RTE....Some improvement in "currency of content" i.e. They didn't turn the airwaves over to Joe Jackson pre recordings and repeats as much as heretofore.

They obviously rostered a different A lister (High earner)to take the morning slot most days.

They used stand ins like Leo Enright and Tom Mc Guirk to fill in for the regulars.

Personally I feel these two are as good ,if not better than the regulars in those slots.
All this brought on by competition.
C+ is my verdict...could try harder.

Newstalk was the other station I tuned into ..not bad, tried hard but

Regional accents are fine in small doses,but listening to a guy constantly referring to Birmingham as "Burrmingham" does tend to grate on even a mild mannered lad as The Flutther

The highlight for me was the lecture by Professor Brendan Drumm on the health Service..sorry I have no link,in which he in my opinion,articulated exactly what is wrong with the health service and what must change.
