Well I want to build a new pc without breaking the bank. I want to get a 19" monitor as well in a few weeks so thats why I'm not going for C2D.
I will be using it for: music, building websites, internet and some light gaming. I will probably get a better motherboard if the budget allows.
Will this be good for vista?
When this is coming into Ireland will I have to pay Irish VAT?
Any money saving tips?

The system is fine for Vista, everything looks pretty much okay. Skimping here & there is possible but unless you were prepared to lose some storage space for a cheaper 160GB HD.

You could skimp a little more on the RAM DDR2-800 doesn't really have that much of an impact this Corsair 1GB for £76.

Basically buying a similar system/parts from Komplett you will make a saving of around €30-50 including delivery.

Thanks for the replies. I have ditched the x-fi in favour of a another motherboard and ram.
