xbox live subscription

I've an x-box ( the original one) and am thinking of trying out x-box live. where do I get an x-box live subscription now? Everywhere I look it the x-box live subscriptions seem to be for the x-box 360. Will it work for both versions or do I have to sign up somewhere else?

the originals work on the 360, so i presume its the same both ways! Yeah ebay.com is the cheapest, pick up a year for about €30... the american ones work for your irish console.

r u positive that us xbox360 cards will work in ireland? because on ebay they say only works in us? thanks

hold on, them ones with the extra month DONT work in ireland... ive tried and it wouldn't let me use it! But the normal ones should work, just stay away from the ones with the free extra month!
