Liverpool - Arsenal CC

I know there's a general thread a few pages back but that was then, and this is now!

I thought Liverpool would win the other day and I think the same now, though you never know. It's an extremely inexperienced Arsenal team, and while the reserves have turned over a good few premiership sides in recent years, Liverpool are a cut above. I always fear a mauling for the kids in the CC, though it never seems to happen. Hopefully not tonight either!

10 of that 16 are under 21, and only the keepers are over 26. Pleased to see Henri Lansbury included mind you, himself and Randall look good prospects.

My eyes will be on Denilson or Diaby, whichever plays. The boy from Brazil I presume, I doubt Diaby will start right away after 8 months out.

Pretty obvious who is taking this more seriously, naturally enough. I really doubt Wenger wants to much on his plate Top 4 is as much a target for him as it is for Rafa.

I'd like to see Baptista make a mark on this game, he's been surprisingly poor since joining Arsenal this season.

Warnock at right full? can he even play there? Although in fairness, Guthrie is a central midfielder and Rafa liked to play him there aswell. Cant see Gonzalez havign the steel for CM.Good to see Fowler get a game.

Maybe he feels right full is a good tester position. Gerrard did well there in the cL final.

Plus we have dudek in goal. I can confidently say he's been the difference between conceding 3 and conceding 7 this week. Not in a good way unfortunately.
