creating a windows xp like menu button in flash

Any ideas on how to design a button in flash that when you left mouse click on it diplays a windows like menu system (but coming from the bottom up not the top down) and has submenus and won't go wonkey if you place other buttons just like it right next to it? but I would prefer to do this as simply as possible with as little tinkering with xml files as possible. If anyone has ideas please pm me and I'll send you a flash file I did that may explain better what I need done.
