    hey,
    A few of us just moving to dublin n went to see a pretty cool house on the carnlough road in cabra.Just wondering if anyone knows what the general area is like?!As in is it pretty safe and stuff yeah?!

    dont really mind what its like so much as our cars dont get wrecked and our house doesnt get robbed!As long as its not one of those areas im happy enough...

    Cabra is... 'alright'.

    Same as most of Dublin, you do get a bit of hassle...

    My Nana and Grandad live on Carnlough rd and they've never had any problems.. prob not the nicest place in the dublin but its handy for town etc..

    There is/can be an element of hassle anywhere in Dublin is probably a better worded sentence than I first wrote.

    Attracta Road is in Cabra if that's any help.

    Joking aside, Carnlough Road was a roughish area in the 60s but like so many of the Corporation schemes has settled down nicely. Used to be classed as Cabra West as distinct from Cabra which was upmarket before the building started.

    Cabra has changed a lot over the last ten years or so...
    It has quietened down and is so much different than it used to be...
    It has changed for the better,, and it keeps improving...
    Great place to live imho... :)
