If it's a nice day you could chill out in peace park...
Seriously though, get yourself a chill deluxe from HillBillys on the Grand Parade(next to public library) It's the yummiest thing in the world except for KCs chipper in douglas which is a bit out of your way.

kcs is the best but odd opening hours. the peace park is full of people who want to rob you and little mini metalers who will entertain you for 5mins tops.then they just get annoying. i agree about going to hillbillys though best thing ever esp after a night out. few good late bars depends on what your into really. we used always bring forgein student s to ring the shandon bells bit of craic not sure if you can still do that. give me a pm if your stuck for info.
future welcome to the real capital

Cork is a great city. I lived there of 6 months and have great memories. With its busy narrow pedestrian streets, flat city centre surrounded by dramatic steep hills, Cork has lots of character.

Nightlife at weekends is great. Oliver Plunkett Street is the centre of entertainment, plenty of busy late night bars. Also, an impressive bar is the Bodega on Coal Quay. Make sure to drink a pint of Murhpys!

Restaurants: There is a good enought choice. Like in Dublin there's Wagamamas, Cafe Bar Deli and Luigi Malones - all reliably of a high standard and good value. Café Paradiso is a classy vegetarian restaurant. Scoozis do nice homemade burgers and pizzas. There's loads more as you'll see from walking around.

There is some impressive architecture in Cork: UCC buildings, St. Finbar's Cathedreal, Custom House, Court House... The newly refurbished Patrick's Street is nicely laid out, a wide street with wide pavements. Make sure to check out the English Market also.

A short train trip away is Photo Wildlife Park, which if you have time is cool.

    Have a great weekend!

I have never understand why people like that pub. Full of tourists anyway.

Go to the Kino. No, really. Best cinema in Ireland.

It'd take a long time for anyone to find that. Is Fota!
