SFA should have let him dual role it. The Rangers job was just big for Smith to turn down.

Are you aware that Smith was previously a very successful manager at Rangers over a prolonged period of time?

The SFA are 100% to go after Rangers and Smith.

If your asking me that, then the answer is yes I was well aware of that. My point still stands - it was to big a job for him to turn down. I very much doubt at this stage of his career he thought he would be offered a 3.5year deal to manage Rangers again. SFA should have allowed him take it. he would still be able to both jobs. They can go after him all they want - they are the ones who will have to work out if the compo they get will justify the damage they have caused to Scotlands chances of get to Euro 08.

dont know why there was a big deal to get him, he in not that good

He may not be, but he is good enough for Scotland and Rangers
