Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

Just got digiweb metro installed and looking to set up wireless in the house.

Reading through the board if I understand correctly, I should not get a router marked for ADSL….....so the only other ones I found in PC World were marked for cable broadband, which I am assuming is compatible with digiweb’s wireless. Is that correct?

I’ve avoided Belkin products following negative feedback on the board so I’ve narrowed it to these two:

    Linksys http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.asp?sku=306148

    Netgear Rangemax http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.asp?sku=319190

Can someone confirm that either of these are what I need? Any experience of using them appreciated.

Yep both should work. I have the Linksys and like it. Good performance, easy to config etc.

Netgear will offer faster speeds, but only if you have a compatible 108Mbps card.

I also recently got the linsys router. However i am having a lot of problems with the losing the wireless signal. i have tried changing the various channels on the router but after a while i will always lose the signal. its not the actual broadband connection as when i connect to the router using a cable everything is fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated
