Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi

In all my 27 years on this planet I've never made a trip across the pond to London. This will all change on saturday though.

A friend of my girlfriends is starring in the musical Chicago so we're mainly going to see that but as it is an afternoon show it leave plently of time left to experience the nightlife!

I would like to know can anyone recommend some pubs and clubs that play decent tunes and are "jeans and runners and "Paddy" friendly" ;)

I'm pretty easy when it comes to tunes but anything along the house/electro/techno lines would be cool.
I'll be staying right near the centre, oxford street etc

    All suggestions welcome!!

Paddy friendly PMSL jaysus mate there's millions more foreigners in London than there is English including loads of Irish, it's not the dark ages you know. anyway where do i start London is a massive city ive lived there myself with clubs it's take your pick really spolit for choice, here are some clubs id recommend.

    http://www.seonelondon.com/
Home of Raindance a warehouse type place home to different nights check the website for listings

Excellent club and soundsyetem but arrive early it gets packed, usually Progressive house or drum n bass/breakbeat here.

Was there for the first time last November for Epidemik and the soundsystem is amazing and the club itself big and spacious, usually on Saturdays though it's House and Garage and attracts a glam crowd so dress up a bit if your going here, top DJ's on as well has been known to go onto 10am Sunday on occasions.

Supposed to be a cracking club but a pretentious crowd all glam so not too sure about here but maybe be worth checking out.

Good atmosphere in this club usually progressive house/trance attracts big name DJ's i would recommend this place myself, arrive early though, no real dress code as far as im aware but best to check.

Had a few good nites here, i was here on NYE 2002 @ an old skool and jungle & hardcore nite and it was the business from what i can remember, maybe a dress code not sure, recommended

Smashing club and definitely recommended, looks like there's a cracking nite on here this Saturday with the Hoxton Whores & Bodyrox, don't think they allow you in with trainers though.

An institute in London like the Ministry and Turnmills you cannot go wrong in the End, trainers should be ok but definitely arrive early here it's always packed esp on Saturdays

I could recommend many more but im sure that's enough to choose from..have fun.

Careful, this place has regular gay nights, as I found out the hard way (queueing up for almost an hour, only for it to gradually dawn on me what kind of crowd it was...)

Fabric is usually uncomfortably packed, but it's worth the experience at least once (try to go on a Friday rather than a Saturday, so you can at least breathe)
