Hi maybe this thread allready exists so apologies if it does,
I have read these great maths books...

Fermats Last thereom - Simon Singh

The Code Book -Simon Singh (maybe this shouldn't be here- not pure maths but very mathsy)

The Music Of the Primes - Marcus DeSautoy

Coincidences,Chaos, And all that Math Jazz - Edward B Burger & Michael Starbird
    - a good read if not a bit simple...

anyone have other good maths popular science books ?

I suggest getting Keith Devlin's "The Millennium Problems", a good rundown on what modern maths is about and its links with physics.
