Is the UCD wireless Internet working today?

Could anybody please tell me if the wireless has been gone today, the 11th Jan. 2007? Somebody rang me to help with laptop connection problems and I'd like to know if it's the computer or the connection. Proxy settings are unchanged. Edit: Do you have to have your firewall turned off to access wireless at UCD?
