    Carole, Dirk and Leo have been nominated for eviction, Big Brother has announced.

    The verdict was delivered to the housemates as they gathered on the sofas around 7.15pm tonight.

    The celebs - minus Cleo and Carole - had earlier cast their nominations in the privacy of the diary room, putting forward Leo and Dirk for the chop.

    Tears then ensued when rule-breakers Cleo and Carole were called the diary room and the group was forced to choose which of the two would definitely be facing the public vote.

    Carole initially reacted angrily - declaring that she "really want[ed] to go" and accusing Big Brother of deliberately engineering the situation so that she would be booted out.

    When Leo and Dirk joined her on the chopping block this evening, both appeared to take the news in their respective strides - with Dirk making a joke of the situation as Leo wondered how the voting would work.

    ..and so Carole goes. Bit of a shame seem as it would have been Leo. Wonder if BB will throw in someone else to make up the numbers..or will they take that risk!
