suspected graphics card problem

    tried to run fear and call of duty, do not get past intro screen, system rebbots.

    should also ad, brand new pc build, and games are fully installed, also graphcs card is a nvidia 6600 gt 128k.

    any ideas ?

    all gfx settings are on low also

    Does not sound like the system is stable did you update the display driver like I mentioned in your s-video thread ?

    Have you also updated Direct-X to the latest build December 2006 ?

    Have you installed the chipset drivers ?

    What kind of CPU do you have ?

    thanks for the tip.

    the stupid driver that came with the card was out of date, your link did the trick. i should of thought of that, as the card had been out for a while now.
