It looks to me as if he accelerated too hard as he was driving out of the bend and the fact that he wasn't a great driver if you watch the rest of the video.:)

was he twitching the back end on each bend?

Because you can't drive a powerful RWD like a FWD car. If you do your a$$ comes around to say hello and you can kiss it goodbye. Looks like he was trying to drive fast in a unfamiliar car. Perhaps trying too hard because of the fast car behind. Must have floored it into a bend on crest, felt the back go light and move, so lifted off suddenly and volia. It can happen at very slow speeds. I've had it happen at 30mph in a unfamiliar mid engined car.

    Too much info...

IMO looks likes the same problem. Looks like he was tying to put too much power at the wrong time, and was probably trying to figure out why the rear kept sliding out. No concept or feel for the balance of the car with the flow of the road.

    driving like a tosser

put the shoe in too hard, if it was an underpowered RWD it may have been ok but due to the power of the car the back stepped out

What an idiot. He ran out of road/talent.

It doesn't seem like very fast driving though.

Was he driving with a flat tyre or something?

Fast enough for the roads that were in it. Probably ~45mph. As others point out, if he accelerated out of the corner (especially in a low gear at that speed), the end would just crack out like a whip.
