    We are about to get a three bed house, two double rooms and one single. Price is 1200. How much should each person pay. One of the doubles has a en-suit ?

    cheers

    Tis really up to yourselves. Best to weight the rooms;

    Double Rm + ES = 2
    Double Rm = 1.5
    Single Room = 1

    Total = 4.5

    1200/4.5 ~= €270 /month

    Double Rm + ES = €540 /month
    Double Rm = €405 /month
    Single Rm = €270

    For example.

    weighing rooms is most important if someone will get a box room

    That was purely example :) It did seem a little extreme when I did it out.

    Maybe you could be more scientific, e.g. 1, 1.5, 1.75?

    Don't ignore the benefit of an ensuite. No sharing of toilet rolls, showers, etc etc.

    thanks, I suppose the 450, 400, 350 seems probably a bit more likely

    You have to take account of the total square footage of the house, you each arent just paying for a bedroom.

    As for ensuite, ask how much per month each person is willing to pay for it and use the average of this in a more scientific calculation incorporating total sq footage ,individual bedroom sq footage etc.
