can google index links in a marquee?

Hi, A link to my site is placed in the following tags: Can google search a marquee tag? Im just thinking it doesnt because its a scrolling bar on the site.

Can google search a marquee tag? Im just thinking it doesnt because its a scrolling bar on the site.

You're thinking about it the wrong way, google doesn't read the outputed page as you see it in the browser it reads the html. so yes it will read it and probabally index it but it may not rank it very highly as a quality link.
