Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi

My vcr had a little accident. So what says you, there's loads more out there!

Well, this one had a record/playback speed called EP which was like long-play except instead of doubling the playback time, it trebled it.

    http://www.panasonic.co.uk/vcr/nv-hv61eb-s/index.htm

We recorded LOADS of stuff using this mode as it was quite watchable, including stuff from the camcorder

And now I'm buggered if I can find a new VCR that supports this playback speed :(

I can't find one in any of the usual online shops. Richersounds offered a brief glimpse of hope, but alas they ran out too.

    Can anyone help? :o

Have you looked into getting it repaired? Do the Panasonic shops do repairs?

New VHS VCRs seem to be getting crapper by the day - nearly all the ones I see for sale now are cheap Chinese or Indonesian junk. That one looks half-decent. Is it still under warranty?

EP VCRs are hard to come by here. I've only really seen Panasonic and Sharp VCRs with it here.

With LP, the ability of different VCRs being able to play something recorded on a different VCR can vary greatly. I can't remember if there's similar issues with EP.
