Is maths required for arts in UCD

    On the website it says nothing about needing a d3 in ordinary, any reason for this

    has this on the maths site:
    "To undertake Mathematical Studies, it is recommended that you have an honour in Higher Level Leaving Certificate Mathematics, or an A1 in Ordinary Level Leaving Certificate Mathematics, or equivalent. If you have taken Ordinary Level Leaving Certificate Mathematics, you may find that you will have to spend some extra hours each week studying the subject"

    Isnt entry for Arts Irish, English, a third language, and three other recognised subjects?

    If thats the case, then Maths isnt specifically needed, but everyone does it, so its two other subjects on top of the four mentioned

    Maths isn;t part of the general matriculation requiremenrs, so unless you're looking at modules that require maths specfically, you don't need it.
