Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi, I am just doing a test lab of deploying software remotely using group poilicy. I want to create an msi for yahoo messenger. I have used wininstall create my before shot on my system and then my after shot when i installed yahoo messenger. When i start the the msi it gives an error licence violation: your attempting to install apackage that has not been branded with licence information contact your system admin and boots me out. How do you specify licence information to resolve this issue or how do i get around this???

A lot of vendors allow an administrative install - simply run the install exe with the /a option. This will create an msi installer in a folder you select, with the options you select. Then you can share out this folder and users can install the application by running the msi from the share, or you can use group policy to distribute it.

Remember to give the windows Installer "Elevated Privilages" under admin templates and Windows Installer on The Computer Config
