Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

If this is way off the mark, apologies... :o but...

Its not a quick high-pitched beep is it? Callers will notice that sound if you keep your old number and the call is being connected to the new network and may think you are out of service the first time they ring!

I had people tell me the same thing when I switched, but once they got used to waiting an extra second, they get through and the phone rings as normal.

sounds like your number has not been redirected on all the exchanges, when you switch networks all other SP's have to be notified eircom, BTireland vodaphone for billing etc, if you are expreiencing problems from some callers and not others check what service provider they are using and contact meteor again should not take long to sort out an hour or so via their tech people

I switched to Meteor at the w/e. For a couple of hours my Vodafone SIM was still the active one. Then I was only able to make outward calls from the Meteor SIM and only take incoming calls on the Vodafone one (I had two phones!).
A day later it was still the same (and I was still carrying two phones), so I rang Meteor.
The girl explained that sometimes the SP that you are leaving (in my case Vodafone) can take some time as they have to check that the last bill was paid etc etc. Oddly about an hour after I made the call, the Vodafone SIM stopped working, and after a reboot of my Meteor Phone, everything was hunky-dory.
Give Meteor a call, they may help out, or speed up the process.
