Badly need a win here as we've stumbled in the league. I think sixth place in the league is attainable. Fight for our lives against Arse in the Semis of the League Cup. Advance in the FA Cup and hopefully a memorable and adventurous run to the Uefa Final!!

Our season is really on a knife edge at the moment. A few bad results and it won't be looking so rosy.

    So no pressure!!

Looks like there could be trouble tonight.

We have been given the following advice for fans from the Police regarding Wednesday night’s FA Cup third round replay against Cardiff City at White Hart Lane. Please take a moment to read it to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable evening.

"The build up to the game on Wednesday against Cardiff has created a lot of interest and some concerns amongst the fans and the local community.

“In our approach to this game we have made safety our primary concern.

“We have taken a partnership approach and had meetings with the Club, the local Community and the Local Authority. Therefore, to implement our Policing plan, we will have significant resources on duty which sets out to ensure people's safety and tackle any disorder or anti-social behaviour.

“The fans attending the game can assist us all by complying with the following advice:

    * To use Paxton Road, Bromley Road and Worcester Avenue as your routes to the Stadium. The area around Park Lane may become congested and create delays for your entry into the Stadium. This applies after the game as well.
    * To comply with the Ground Regulations inside the Stadium.
    * Do not allow yourself to become involved in any criminal or anti-social behaviour at any time.
    * Enjoy the game.

“We will do our best to facilitate the safety of all and we hope you will understand when we impact on your movement around the Stadium.

“We hope you will do your bit to distance yourself from any unacceptable behaviour and will encourage others to do likewise. Any bad Press will only impact negatively on the Club. Your Club."

Pubs down Park Lane are all closed tonight, apparently all of the Cardiff coaches are to be parked down there.

    T'will be hairy.

Good win tonight, played pretty well in the first half and took the chances as they come. The second half we took the foot of the gas and just played the ball about. Cardiff didn't really create anything of any note and its good that we kept a clean sheet.

Gardner was pretty solid at the back, so i presume that as he was playing that Davenport could well be on his way (supposedly to West Ham)

    Tonights other events.
Park Lane was completely blocked off, with high security fencing at the end of the street. The Cardiff coaches were escorted directly into the Park Lane with a HUGE police presence. After the game they were herded back onto the coaches behind the security fences, there were a few attempts to get at the coaches, but nothing of note from what i saw ... overall i didn't think they brought that many down to WHL,(certainly did'nt fill their allocation from what i saw high up in the west stand next to them) so a non event by their fans and their team

Was gonna cost me two days leave from work, so gave it a miss.

Rob, I've heard their mob were held back for 45 minutes after the game, then marched up Edmonton way to join their coaches. Did you see them boarding on Park Lane?

yep saw them getting off the coaches at the park lane, then getting back on them again and then driving away ..... don't think the police would have risked having them marched up the High Street.... Like i said the Park lane was closed off with security fences and no-one was allowed through it .... there was no Cardiff anywhere near the ground apart from the ones on the coaches that got escorted all the way into the ground and out again
