Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

wireless router problems

    hi imusing a belkin g router/access point it used to give great coverage around the house now it doesnt,we live in a fairly average size house,the brother just got a laptop and he cant even get a signal in his room nor can i,is this just the range of the router is too short ? ? have tried changing channels etc,but to no avail.do i need a new access point with better coverage and if so can anyone recommend one to me ? ? thanks in advance

    The one thing I found with my D-Link usb adaptor was if your wireless adaptor(in your laptop) could not do the type of encryption your wireless router was putting out on it would not even pick up there was a wireless network present. I would think that range is a problem as I regulary pick up neighbours wireless networks. IF you havent tried already you should try disabling the security on your wireless router and see then if it can be picked up buy your laptop.
