Outlook, attachments going into the text body!

apologies if im posting in the wrong forum, i've read the charters but dont know where to post questions on outlook.feel free to move it to the correct place.

im having problems putting attachments on my emails when i compose them, they go in to the main text of my emails, this isnt a problem for emails within ireland but when my emails go to suppliers im using in china they are having difficulty opening them. however when i reply or forward an email and add an attachment it goes in the attachment bar under the subject line (as im sure all should)

is there a setting or a tick box i should have selected in the options??

That's because when you type a new message you're in Rich Text and when you reply you're in HTML. Change new message format to HTML and Bob's your uncle!

Forgot to mention that if you want all your new messages to be in HTML format instead of changing it each time you can do this in Outlook by going to:

"Tools" > "Options" > "Mail Format" and in "Message Format" choose "HTML"
